No if, ands, or BUTTS about it

That thing with the old version of Romeo and Juiet was really nasty(although I think some girls liked it). The new version was cool when tybalt killed mercutio with the shard of glass and then Romeo shot him a bunch. That is my favorite part of the movie so far. Although I did like the fight scene in the older one better, because it was longer and like a real fight. It was awesome when they were joking, and then they fought, but were still kindof joking around. It was all a big joke until somebody gets hurt. After Romeo found out that mercutio was actually hurt, he got really mad, and it was cool to see Romeo's mad side, because normally you just see his wimpy kissy, mushy, love stuff. It is nice to see him man up and take revenge like he did.

I didn't like how they had to show Romeo's behind, but overall both movies were good. I still like the new version, but with the sweet fight scene, the older one is catching up.

That is all for my romeo/juliet comments

I think that YOU were the one who really liked the old version of Romeo and Juliet.

Yeah, the new version fight was really cool! Although I didn't think it was as funny as the older version. I mean, he was making them all laugh literally until the end. Then Romeo got mad. Same in the new one.

The butt scene was kinda nasty. And a lot of the girls didn't like it. I know Colton did though, well, according to what he said... It kinda scares me...

I like that Romeo can switch personalities. He's kinda a wuss, and he wouldn't be if he got angrier through-out the thing. Love birds do in fact get mad at one another.

Ya the part in the new movie where tyblt kills mercutio and then romeo kills tybalt was pretty sweet. I like the way mercutio is in the new movie. I didn't really like the mercutio in the old movie though. I think the newer movie is the best.

I liked the new version alot better than the older version.

When we watch the old version it's so hard for me to pay attention to it, because it's really just, BLEH.

And i didn't mind the exposing of Romeo all that much. hahaha.

I like the new movie better, but the only thing that bothered me about the butt scene was that they would put something like that on tv back then. That was like forbidden. I liked the old Mercutio since he was the only life in the whole movie, but I like the new Romeo. He's a lot cuter. To me, he is.

Yeah, so according to Ms. James, you couldn't have french kissing in a movie back then. But how did the butt thing get in their? This movie must have caught a lot of flak back then.

I didn't really like the old Mercutio. He was funny, but he was also just a goofball, and the sad thing is, even when he was dying, they didn't take him serious, because he was always joking. It's kind of like the boy who cried wolf.

I definitely like the new movie better because of the gorgeous Leo DeCaprio...and the whole butt scene thing was awkward b/c it was hard NOT to look at it b/c that's all that was in the frame. I think they should make a translated version of the play, then we could understand it better. Channing Tatum (from She's the Man and Step Up) should be Romeo and Rachel Bilson (from the OC) should be Juliet. I could be her stunt double...lol.

Yeah, they should. But for now, the new one will have to do.

How would that work out? They've got this guy's butt taking up the whole entire screen, but they wouldn't allow french-kissing? Weird...

Love is not "whimpy", nor does violence and revenge equate with strength. Rather, it takes a stronger person to meet hate with love, and malevolence with compassion than for a person to use means of force to achieve a certain end.

I'd have to put this as the second funniest blog, next to the "Sometimes, It hurts" blog
