A Hero is Made Not Born
No one is born a hero they become heroes. If you are born with every super power ever thought of, but there is no one to save or help, you can't be a hero. Heroes are made in times of need. They can be every day people like a teacher, a neighbor, or some guy on the street. You are probably not going to wake up one day and think, I was born a hero so I'm going to save the World. Instead you might be someone more fortunate at the time and help someone that is less fortunate. For example if a natural disaster destroy a house of a friend or family member you could give them a place to sleep for a while. Sometimes people are forced to be heroes when there is something like an accident that requires help as soon as possible and you happen to be there. So it's cool if you were born with really cool super powers but that doesn't make you a hero.

This is a picture that I thought represented the time period of when Mocking Bird was set. The girl in this picture seems to be the daughter of someone like Atticus. She seems to be more lady like than Scout, though. She seems to be enjoying being outside just as much as Scout does during the summer. I believe that this picture really represents the way life was during the time of Mockingbird. Things were more simplistic, and people were outdoors more often, than people are today.

Stunned
I finished my book, Twilight!
Oh my gosh, that book is so good. it took me about two weeks to read ( not counting the weekends, just weekdays) and I never wanted to take my eyes off of the pages. Seriously, today (Sunday) I read about 100 pages with no break or intermission for my eyes. Normally I read a certain amount of pages in a book and then I get up and walk around, watch TV, get on the computer, normal stuff. But with this book it felt like my eyes were glued to each page. I think in order to read this book you have to be willing to get lost in your imagination and be able to cling to the large amount of fiction in this book. The book almost made me cry, it made me laugh, and it even made my body hurt just with descriptions of what happens to Bella in the story. Basically, if what I've been describing sounds like something you want to read then you should get started soon because it has 498 pages, but remember those fly by in the blink of an eye:]
I hope every one's weekend was fun, and enjoyable!

The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening
So the book I’m reading right now, that is not school required, is called “The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening”. It is part one of three and the author is L.J. Smith, the writer of many great books. She writes many good vampire/romance novels. I like her books because they are action packed and yet romantic at the same time. The book so far is about a popular girl, named Elena, who is in high school in her senior year and she meets a new guy who is actually a vampire, but she doesn’t know and tries to be his girlfriend (she will try every thing to get him). The guy is a transferred student from Italy, named Stefan, and when he meets the girl Elena, he is startled because she looks exactly like the girl in his past, and then tries to avoid her.
Stefan’s past is a memory that he does not want to remember. There was a girl, Kathrine, who came to his house because of her sickness. And then he starts falling in love with her, but she doesn’t feel the same with him and likes his brother instead. Kathrine then has enough trusts for Stefan that she tells him that she is a vampire. He is shocked but gets over it because he is deeply in love with her.
My prediction to this book is that Stefan was turned into a vampire by Kathrine and then he starts liking Elena. While Elena is in love with Stefan, Stefan will be kidnapped by his brother (Kathrine’s lover), Damon, and will try to steal Elena from Stefan.
This book might seem a bit cheesy but it isn’t and is actually not. I think it’s the way I had out the words to make it cheesy. LOL. Oh, well. I recommend this book to people who like romance and vampire novels.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
I am reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. So far I like this book. It is Harry Potters sixth year at Hogwarts and Lord Voldemort has returned to full power. Here is basically what has happened up to where I am at. Cornelius Fudge the minister of magic has been replaced with the former head Auror Rufus Scrimgeour. Professor Snape made an unbreakable vow with Draco Malfoys mother to keep him protected and to help him with the task voldemort has given him. Harry fallows Draco Malfoy into Knockturn Alley and decides that he is up to no good. Horace Slughorn becomes the new potions teacher and Snape gets defense against the dark arts (his most favorite subject). Harry becomes captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Professor Slughorn makes a group called the slug club that is for the relatives of famous witches and wizards and for students that are very good at magic. Harry has to barrow a potions book from the school and the previous owner was the half blood prince. The potions book has short cuts and tips for potion making and spells which allows him to be the best potions maker in his class which makes Hermione very jealous. Katie Bell was cursed. Ron and Hermione are fighting because Ron is going out with Lavender Brown and he is making it public. Harry finds out that Snape has made the unbreakable vow with Malfoy's mom which adds to harry's suspicion. The sixth years get to take apparition lessons after winter break. Oh ya and Dumbledore is giving Harry secret lesions about Voldemort's past and Harry secretly likes Ginny Weasley.

The Little Boy
This picture caught my eye because of the little boy in it. It caught my attention because it makes me think of what life would be back then. What happened back then that had resulted to today’s present? Why did history change? This picture makes me wonder so much about the differences of today and yesterday [figure of speech (in the past)]. This picture is so wonderful that it makes me want to travel back in time and discover how it was back then. The man on the right of the little boy probably indicates that back in the old day’s family had to share beds. This picture can tell you so much that it makes me wonder. You can tell that this is very different because people back then had put there shoes on the end of the bed (under the boy’s feet) and how today we leave our shoes either inside or outside of our front door. To me, the little boy looks between the ages of 2-4. His look is so calm that it makes me wonder.
Maybe back then they didn’t shower that much because of how dirty the little boy is. And maybe back then they didn’t have that much clothes because the clothes that the little boy seems to be wearing looks a bit worn out. What caught my very first attention in this picture was the little boy because the way he looks in his eyes seems much distanced. And to my conclusion of this ‘wonder’-ful picture, I would like for you to comment me back about this picture.
