The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening

So the book I’m reading right now, that is not school required, is called “The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening”. It is part one of three and the author is L.J. Smith, the writer of many great books. She writes many good vampire/romance novels. I like her books because they are action packed and yet romantic at the same time.

The book so far is about a popular girl, named Elena, who is in high school in her senior year and she meets a new guy who is actually a vampire, but she doesn’t know and tries to be his girlfriend (she will try every thing to get him). The guy is a transferred student from Italy, named Stefan, and when he meets the girl Elena, he is startled because she looks exactly like the girl in his past, and then tries to avoid her.

Stefan’s past is a memory that he does not want to remember. There was a girl, Kathrine, who came to his house because of her sickness. And then he starts falling in love with her, but she doesn’t feel the same with him and likes his brother instead. Kathrine then has enough trusts for Stefan that she tells him that she is a vampire. He is shocked but gets over it because he is deeply in love with her.

My prediction to this book is that Stefan was turned into a vampire by Kathrine and then he starts liking Elena. While Elena is in love with Stefan, Stefan will be kidnapped by his brother (Kathrine’s lover), Damon, and will try to steal Elena from Stefan.

This book might seem a bit cheesy but it isn’t and is actually not. I think it’s the way I had out the words to make it cheesy. LOL. Oh, well. I recommend this book to people who like romance and vampire novels.

Yeah, the book is okay, but if you like something else I can give you a list of some more metamorph books.
