Under our justice system, all citizens are treated fairly in our courts of law????
The statement our justice system, all citizens are treated fairly in our courts of law is thought to be true by most people. But if you really think about it its not true because if you are in a high position in government then if you do something bad you can usually get people to cover up for you and you wont get in much trouble. Also racism is a part of how long the sentence or what the jurisdiction is.If someone looks bad or poor then they will most likely be punished differently than a wealthy rich looking person.People who have more money can afford better lawyers and pay bail easier than people who have less money.

Amen to that sister. Money is the name of the game when it comes to court systems. Whoever has the most money is most likely to win, because they will hire a big shot lawyer that will pick jury members that are just like you, and will take pity on you and make you innocent, even if you really did it. The key is making them feel sorry for you. And expensive lawyers are good at that.
