A Hero is Made Not Born
No one is born a hero they become heroes. If you are born with every super power ever thought of, but there is no one to save or help, you can't be a hero. Heroes are made in times of need. They can be every day people like a teacher, a neighbor, or some guy on the street. You are probably not going to wake up one day and think, I was born a hero so I'm going to save the World. Instead you might be someone more fortunate at the time and help someone that is less fortunate. For example if a natural disaster destroy a house of a friend or family member you could give them a place to sleep for a while. Sometimes people are forced to be heroes when there is something like an accident that requires help as soon as possible and you happen to be there. So it's cool if you were born with really cool super powers but that doesn't make you a hero.

I never thought of it like that, but you're right. I guess if that's true, then there were a lot of heroes during the tsunami in Asia and a lot of heroes during Hurricane Katrina. It's nice to know that we have so many kind people in the world, but it shouldn't take a disaster to make people realize that we need each other.
