Yesterday, my friend and I when behind my old middle school, after working and caught a few fish for my fish tank. All my others died because of the ice storm. We dug up some worms then went on our way. When we got there I started to rig up and saw that I forgot to get the bobbers on the way out. luckily I saw one about 20 feet up in a tree. I climb up there and about 12 minutes later I got it down and rigged it up. By this time my friend had already caught about 6 and put some of them in the cooler. I think I caught about 5, but I only had one around the size we wanted. When we went home there was about nine in the cooler. My friend kept seven and I kept two because he has a 200 gal. tank. They are all pumpkin seed perch(above). Today they are doing fine and are adapting great, but not eating yet.

You know no one knows what you're talking about, right? I'm just kidding...although I don't know what you're talking about. It's cool that you and your friend have such a great bond over fishing.:)
Yeah, I caught some sunfish in the James River and put one in my pond. I haven't seen it over the winter but I think it is still alive. It was either a long eared sunfish or a pumpkinseed.
