Bookends

So the title of this book doesn't sound to interesting, but the book is actually really good. It is about this woman who is a professor and she goes back to her hometown to do some research for her church. Right now it doesn't sound to great but eventually a guy gets involved and and it turns into a romantic comedy.

This woman named Emilie is doing research for her church for a 70th aniversary for their religion, but she is also doing some research for herself. Before this she was trying to "rewrite" history, but failed and lost respect of her fellows "historians." So by finding this one specific thing she hopes to get that out of her mind and gain her pride back. Emilie is a woman her loves history and she meets a man completely opposite.

The man she meets name is Jonas and he (how he stats it) plays with dirt. He a construction guy in other words. He is also a real lady's man and at first Emilie can not stand him. Neither one of them will accpect the fact that they both like each other and are in complete denial.

Both of them run into a conflict that affects each other and neither one of them are willing to give up their pride and their project to make the other happy. So they both try to woo the other to get their way and it ends up becoming one big mess. I haven't finished yet but im thinking it will end up pretty good.
