Romeo+Juliet=Confusing

Is it just me or do you think Romeo and Juliet is get more confusing by the minute. I get it when I read it along side no fear Shakespeare. If I don't do that I end up thinking the complete opposite of what they are really saying some parts I get, but they throw in so many extra word that confuse me. I like they "play" so far ,but it is so
< to me.

Talk Later, I guess.

Yeah I think Romeo and Juliet by shakespear is confuzing!I can get it when I read it with no Fear Shakespear but by itself it confuzes me.The modern movie really helps me to understand it because you can see what happens and what it would mean today.I think that all of the extra words they use are confuzing to!How alot of the words have changed meanings from then to now is also very confuzing.

How did you do on Tuesday when you read the Friar's speech as a "think aloud"? It takes a lot of patience, but you can at least see the poetic images when you take it slowly. A lot of you guys mentioned that you like to read the subtitles on the new film version, too. Does that help?

I don't know what's with most people I've been talking to. I have to say that I really liked this play. The only reason I liked it was because of Mercutio's razor sharp wit. But after Scene 1 of Act III, I don't like Romeo and Juliet anymore.
