NEVER KILL A MOCKINGBIRD!

Last night I read more of To Kill A Mockingbird. I learned more about why the book has its name. Atticus gives both Jem and Scout these guns. He tells them they can shoot the bluejays and tin cans, but to NEVER SHOOT MOCKINGBIRDS! He said this because mockingbirds cause no harm and they just sing beautiful music. I found this interesting that the book is named after this little event in the book. Other things happen in the chapters I read and Gem and Scout continue to take insults from school about their dad's trial. So I'm not going to say anymore in case you guys have not read up to this point. (even though you should have by now!)
