Who Likes Sad Endings?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I love the heroic type of sad endings. If you're like me and you can handle an older book, you'll love All Quiet on the Western Front. Yep, I finished it and it was amazing. The few chapters before it gets sad were really funny too. These nuns are praying for the wounded soldiers in the hospital and it ticks the soldiers off because the praying woke them up early and they want to sleep. Then the nuns won't close the door as they keep praying so a guy throws a bottle through the door and it explodes in the hallway and the praying stops. lol

It's an amazing book if you want to see a first hand perspective on a war. I absolutely loved it.

Oh, I've heard of that book! I read a passage from that, and that is the MOST GRUESOME THING I HAVE EVER READ!! lol

I'm not particularly fond of sad endings, more of happy endings of a sad book... cuz it's always fictional... Anyway, I hate sad endings, but I love fiction! lol

Do you have any other books you enjoy? I've heard of one book called 'Showdown'. Have you read that? If you have, is it good?

Yeah, I've heard of Showdown. It's really good if you like Christian Fiction and Thrillers. The beginning is kind of slow, but it gets really interesting. The entire plot is this insane struggle between good and evil set in this mountain town. I like it a lot.
