"GIRLS SHOULD ACT LIKE GIRLS"

I said this statement was false because in my opinion, it shouldn't matter what girls act like. It seems like today in the real world boys get to do whatever they please because "he's just being a boy" Girls can act how they want i think, as long as they have manners and respect for others. If girls want to be perceived as a tomboy, then let them be. People should be able to express themselves how they want without worrying about being socially accepted. Even though it's more polite to be ladylike and "girly", girls can act how they want even if society disagrees. I know I probably feel stronger about this than most guys because I'm guessing most guys want a girly prissy girl..right?

GOODNIGHT!

I agree with you Kaybee395, because you are so right about how society is today and that it really shouldn’t matter on how girls of today act like. All girls should express themselves freely and should not hold things in. And yes, boys shouldn’t be excused for everything, just because “there only being a boy”.

This is a really good subject in class to discuss about because of what girls in today’s life can or can’t do. And to my conclusion I’d like it for all the girls to just act like themselves in every way they are comfortable in.

I agree completely in that girls should not act a certain way just to fit in, because a lot of the time that means that they are not acting like themselves. If i girl is trully a girly girl then they can act like that i have no problem with it, and if a girl is a tomboy then they should act like a tomboy. I do not think a girl should act a certain way just because they want someone to like them. I personally want people to like me because of who I am not because I change myself for them.

I also agree with the statement, "they are just being boys". I don't think a boy should be let off easy or whatever for just "acting like a boy". I think that it is true that boys can act a certain way, but just because they are a boy it makes no difference what people think of them if they are acting like themselves and being true not someone else.
