At the beginning, I thought I was going to kill the book. It doesn't really seem to be getting any more exciting, but I'm keeping hope alive! Hurrah for hope, no matter how distant it may seem, huh?
Anyway, I'm still really confused about why they call their dad by his first name, and why the teacher said she couldn't read. I mean, if she told me that... She'd have a piece of my mind. You take my books away from me, and that'll be your biggest regret! But I'm sure I'll never have that problem! =]

it is really hard to get into, but i wish i was able to keep hope s easy as you because i give up on that book.
Geez! You people bother me! So what if they call their dad Atticus? I think its kinda cool. He treats them like they're grown ups and that is probably part of the reason why they are so intelligent. Just read the book!
